Q: Why did you join The Back and Body Clinic?

A: Being deeply involved in extreme sports, I've felt firsthand the frustration of injuries holding me back. I joined The Back and Body Clinic because of its commitment to utilising all modern tools available and leveraging a range of professionals to offer comprehensive rehabilitation. Their holistic approach, acting as a one-stop-shop for anyone seeking to move without pain, truly aligns with my desire to help individuals regain their optimal physical capabilities.

Q: What work experience to date?

A: I've spent a significant portion of the last decade teaching wakeboarding and being actively involved in the world of extreme sports. My passion for sports like wakeboarding and mountain biking has provided me with firsthand knowledge of the challenges athletes face, both physically and mentally. This experience has solidified my understanding of movement dynamics, making it a perfect complement to my physiotherapy studies.

Q: Clinical special interests?

A: I have a particular interest in sports-related injuries, rehabilitation, and preventive care, especially for those involved in extreme sports. My firsthand experience with the demands and risks of these sports allows me to empathize with and address the specific needs of athletes.

Q: Top past times?

A: When I'm not in the clinic, you'll likely find me wakeboarding, mountain biking, or pursuing other adrenaline-pumping activities.

Q: What do you do at the weekends?

A: Weekends are my time to unwind and indulge in my favorite sports, whether that's hitting the trails on my mountain bike or gliding on water while wakeboarding.

Q: Most proud achievement?

A: One of my proudest moments was coaching a dedicated wakeboarding client who, against all odds, clinched first place at nationals at the age of 40. Together, we worked on his fitness off the water, tailored an S&C program, and optimized his nutrition, proving age is just a number when you're committed.

Q: One item you'd take to a desert island?

A: Without a doubt, my bike! I'd use the opportunity to build some exhilarating trails and enjoy the adventure.

Q: Who would you like to be stranded in a list with?

A: Joe Rogan. His insightful conversations and diverse range of topics would make the time fly by!
