Footscan and Phits FAQ’s
What to expect?
Our Footscan appointments are packed full of fascinating technical data and useful information, but don’t worry, our friendly team of specialist therapists will talk you through the findings in plain English and take the time to answer any questions you might have about the process.
The Footscan assessment and insole consultation takes around 45 minutes. During the assessment your therapist may ask to see you stand, balance, walk, run or jump on the Footscan force plate (depending on your specific needs and goals!!).
After they’ve gathered all the relevant information, your therapist will go through the findings with you, taking time to explain the information on screen and relate it back to the symptoms you are experiencing. This is the geeky bit!!
Finally, the therapist will work with you, aided by the data collected via the assessment, to design a bespoke 3D printed insole! The insoles are infinitely customisable and you’ll work collaboratively to design a device that addresses any issues and imbalances and works towards optimising your performance! How exciting!!
