The most likely causes of thigh pain is muscle injury or nerve pain. Our favourite job is trying to work out which one it is. Sometimes, it’s easy to work out, like if you felt it “go” whilst playing football, but at other times, investigation into thigh pain goes a little deeper… but don’t worry, we’ll get to the cause as we have lots of different clinical tests we can do to work out if it’s a nerve pain or a muscle injury. If it is a muscle injury, we need to work out if it is a tendionpathy or muscle belly injury and if its muscle belly, which bit. It sounds complicated but leave it to us! We’ve got this!
