I was suffering with severe neck pain and had hardly any movement.

Decided I needed to get some urgent physio as I do a physical job and was due to be working in London the following week. Rang the Back and Body Clinic and luckily managed to get an appointment that afternoon. Was introduced to Taya, a sports therapist who sat me down and asked me lots of questions regarding my symptoms. After half an hour of massage and stretching techniques I started to get some movement back in my neck. The pain was still there but not as severe. I couldn’t believe it. Taya recommended booking in the following day for more treatment which I did. She also showed me some exercises to do to get more movement back. The following day I returned and more of the same treatment from Taya. I walked out of the clinic with even more movement!! Got through the weekend continuing my stretching exercises and using a heat pad which again Taya had recommended to buy. By Monday morning I was off the painkillers and had around 85-90% movement back in my neck. Cannot thank Taya enough. Truly professional service. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. Taya even followed up with an email to ask how I was doing. Exceptional service. I have no hesitation in recommending The Back and Body Clinic to anyone suffering with neck, back or indeed any other injuries

Went in to see a physio called Ollie at this clinic with a shoulder pain I had for years but thought I could just work through it. Naturally turns out I couldn’t.

After about 3 sessions my shoulder strength started to come back, my mobility got so much better and I’ve stopped getting cramps so often in my left arm. I want to say a big thank you to Tyla who has been so brilliant over the last 8 months.

I booked an appointment with Tyla in September after my running injury hadn’t improved with rest. She listened and understood my crazy goal of running a marathon in April even though I couldn’t walk without pain. Every week, she was encouraging, friendly and positive and very knowledgable. She always had a plan that suited me and my goals. She formulated a very sensible return to running which built up gradually alongside the strength training programme.
When my injury started to improve and I didn’t need a weekly appointment, Tyla was always available by email to answer any queries or worries I had which was so reassuring.

All of her advice and support was brilliant, as I not only ran the marathon without any pain or further injuries but I got a 5 minute PB. Throughout treatment, Tyla always said the hard work with the strength training would pay off and she was correct.

I can’t thank her enough for all her help and advice. I will be continuing to see Tyla to help avoid any further injuries and would recommend her to anyone looking for a brilliant physio.

When I first attended Back & body clinic at Wootton I had just started my weight loss & get fitter regimen at age of 60.

I was suffering with severe osteoarthritis in my knee & due to increase in walking now had bad tendinitis in my ankle. I was nervous at first appointment but was seen by Andrea Giampaoli who was patient & quickly made me feel at ease. He gave me exercises for my knee & also had course of acupuncture to knee & ankle.Andrea was so supportive and professional. I was working hard at getting fitter but due to pain in knee had steroid injection via GP. I continued to see Andrea post injection & he gave me exercises & suggestions to work on strengthening my knee once injection had started to work. I worked hard to follow his advise & had my last appointment in January. I am still working hard on weight loss ( lost 4 stone so far), walking & loving Zumba. I cannot thank Andrea enough & would highly recommend him & the team. I won’t hesitate to arrange to see him again if needed.

Several people had recommended the Back and Body clinic but I was relying on the NHS to help – which was a mistake!

By the time I had my first appt with Ollie I was desperate and at rock bottom. I had so much pain in my neck, shoulders and wrist that I didn’t know what to do with myself and my job was at risk. Ollie listened to all the problems and despite being more than one issue and the fact that I’d booked for a sports massage, he talked me through what he thought and over the next few months he reduced the pain. It was recommended I have a steroid injection in my neck which is the best money I have ever spent! Dr Tom and Sinead were so lovely, they kept me informed and took great care of me during and after. I’ve then continued physio with Ollie and he has been amazing with all his advice, exercises and work that he has done with all my ailments!
It sounds dramatic but going to the Back and Body clinic has changed my life. It felt like I would always be in pain but now things are so much better.
Everyone is so lovely and welcoming and they really care about getting you on the mend. I can’t recommend them enough.

I tore one of my right rotator cuff muscles but had been diagnosed at my GP surgery with a frozen shoulder and told it would be a year before it was better. This was unacceptable so I sought treatment at this clinic due to the excellent treatment I’d had many years ago on my back.

Andrea Giampaoli carefully diagnosed the real issue and I can only describe him as being a genius. I had 4 appointments and each time careful tests were conducted and exercises prescribed. I was discharged yesterday and my shoulder is healed with full range of pain free motion and I’m able to begin weight training again.

I’m so grateful as my shoulder was agony and I could barely tolerate lifting it. It kept me awake at night but thanks to Andrea and doing exactly as he instructed I’m back in action.

The clinical information from Mike is clear, and well explained, and despite his enthusiasm for jabbing needles into dodgy knees (I had an Ultrasound guided knee injection with steroid and hyaluronic acid….eek) everything is carried out extremely professionally. The clinic continues to invest in high tech gear i.e the Ultrasound scanner, this makes the process even more precise. Past results were great so I’m looking forward to pain free Skiing once everything has settled down 🙂

My teenage daughter saw Amy regularly for several months for Severs disease. She plays football for an academy Amy was fantastic.

Amy made sure we got the right diagnosis by liaising with Dr Tom Saw within the clinic. Then she came up with a treatment plan, which she adapted at each stage. When my daughter had to take all load off her heel and get round on crutches for several weeks, Amy was very empathetic and caring. When she needed to be tough and firm, she did that too, but always with a sense of humour! She went above and beyond to help improve the situation and even liaised with the football club to make sure everyone was on the same page. With Amy’s expert management of the condition, my daughter is recovering well and is now able to play football again. We will miss seeing Amy! We wouldn’t hesitate to return to her in the future.

Hello, my name is Karen and I am 63 years old. I went to see Luke on the 2nd of June about a knee problem that had probably resulted from a car accident many years ago

where I had two discs removed and a spinal fusion. I was finding it very difficult to walk up stairs or just walk some days, so much so I seriously contemplated a bungalow!
