Senior 1 Physiotherapist

Back to team
I graduated from Keele University in 2019 with a first-class honour’s degree in Physiotherapy (BSc Hons). Since graduating, I worked in the NHS for a brief period before moving over to private practice where I have worked for the last 4.5 years. Over the last 4 years I have attended many courses such as The runners repairs course, the sporting hip as well as acupuncture and the shoulder:steps to success course to upskill and enhance my knowledge.

Q: Clinical special interests?

A: Having been super involved in sport throughout my life, I love treating sporting injuries. I want to not only get you back doing what you love to do but I also want to get you stronger and fitter to perform even better than before, but also stop those reoccurrence in the future. I have first hand experience of many injuries throughout my sporting career so far and therefore I understand how worrying, painful, frustrating and daunting the path to full fitness can be.

Q: What do you do when you're not at work?

A: Outside of work I am a keen triathlete, therefore training takes up most (all) of my time outside of clinic. This year I have qualified for the 70.3 (Half Ironman) World championships, which will take place in December in New Zealand. My goal over the next couple of years to to try and gain my professional license.

Q: What's your favourite film?

A: I am a sucker for a romantic film, love actually would be a favourite and I have a fetish for running trainers, or just trainers for that matter aha!
