How much does a physiotherapy appointment cost?

Our Physiotherapy appointment fees vary depending on the experience level of your clinician and the length of your session:

  • Junior therapist — £61 for 30 minutes
  • Senior 1 — £69 for 30 minutes
  • Senior 2 — £72 for 30 minutes
  • Advanced practitioner — £76 for 30 minutes

45-minute and one-hour appointments are also available across all levels. Not sure which is right for you? Just give us a call and our team will be happy to help.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Comfort is key! We recommend wearing comfortable, flexible and easy to move in. Depending on which part of the body we’re treating, our physiotherapist may need to examine the area directly, so clothing that can be easily rolled up or removed is really helpful. For example, shorts are ideal for knee or hip problems, and a vest or strappy top works well for shoulder or neck issues.

If you are still unsure, just give us a call and our friendly team will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

What can I expect on the day?
When you enter the clinic, you will be greeted by our friendly reception team, who will notify the physiotherapist of your arrival. At your first appointment, we will always take the time to do a thorough examination that helps us come to a clear diagnosis. Our therapists are great at explaining this and answering any questions you have. Once we (and you) understand what is going on and why… we can be much more efficient and targeted at treating you effectively.

We will then be super keen to start some ‘hands on’ treatment. We will be looking for what’s tight so we can loosen it, what’s stiff so we can mobilise or manipulate it and what’s in spasm so we can relax it off. Our therapists will also look to find what’s weak so they can work out the best way to strengthen it, so expect at some stage to come away with a great rehab program too that will phase up and get harder through your sessions.

Once your symptoms have started to improve, our physios will continually be looking for the underlying root cause of the issue… that is where the really important work starts!!! We believe that looking for faulty movement patterns and screening you for areas of weakness and compensation is absolutely critical! By doing this effectively, we can help you correct those issues that contributed to the injury in the first place… and hopefully stop it coming back again in the future.

How long will it take before I am pain free?
That’s one of the most common things we get asked — and we wish we could give you a straight answer! The truth is, it depends on what’s going on for you personally. The type of issue, how long you’ve been living with it, your age, lifestyle, and overall health all play a role in how quickly your body heals.

What we can promise is that you won’t be left guessing. From your very first appointment, we’ll give you an honest assessment of where you are, what’s causing your pain, and a realistic idea of your road to recovery. Most of our patients are surprised by how quickly they start feeling a difference — and having a physio in your corner almost always gets you there faster than waiting and hoping it resolves on its own.
