A: I was drawn to join The Back and Body Clinic due to the high level of support they provide to their team members. The extensive training offered here is exceptional, allowing me to continually improve my skills and deliver the best possible care to our clients. Beyond the training, the team is extremely friendly and welcoming. From my first day, I felt embraced by a group that truly values collaboration and personal growth. Each team member goes out of their way to make you feel included and supported, whether it's sharing knowledge, offering advice, or simply checking in to see how your day is going. This positivity isn’t just part of the work environment; it’s woven into the culture of the clinic, creating a space that’s both motivating and rewarding.
Q: Clinical special interests?
A: During university, my favourite placements were in musculoskeletal settings, which solidified my passion for this field and made me thrilled to have found this job. I loved being part of the entire patient journey, seeing firsthand the impact of my work on improving their quality of life. Being able to guide and support patients through rehabilitation, seeing their progress, and witnessing the positive changes we could bring to their daily lives is incredibly fulfilling. I was also particularly drawn to women’s health, which I explored further in my dissertation.
Q: Top pastimes?
A: I enjoy spending my free time at the gym or at the athletics track running over some hurdles. Athletics has been a great passion of mine since I was 7 years old, and I have spent the majority of my life living and breathing all things track and field. I spent a few years training to compete in heptathlon, but in more recent years, I decided to focus solely on hurdles (which has always been my favourite). I took a couple years out of running whilst studying at University, so now I have moved home my main aim is to get down to the track as often as possible. More recently, I have also decided to start training for a hyrox, so hopefully, within the next year, I will be making my hyrox debut ... wish me luck.
Q: What do you do at the weekends?
A: I usually spend my weekend either spending some quality time with family and friends, or standing in front of a dancefloor with some headphones around my neck DJing. I have been DJing since I was 14, following in the footsteps of my dad. I carried this on throughout University, and I was the resident DJ in a couple of student nightclubs. Currently, you'll find me DJing at weddings at the weekends alongside my dad as a father/daughter duo.
Q: Favourite food?
A: Anything seafood, especially when i'm on holiday.
Q: One item to take to a desert island?
A: My headphones so i can listen to music and relax.
