Q: What do you love about your job?

I love my role as a Clinical Specialist Hand Therapist because every day is fascinating and rewarding. I enjoy helping people regain their independence, recover function, and improve their quality of life. One of the best parts of the job is meeting incredible people from all walks of life and being part of their journey to recovery.

Q: Clinical interest

I am a clinical specialist hand therapist with 17 years experience in upper limb injuries. A hand therapist is a specialist who helps people recover from injuries, surgery, and conditions affecting the hand and upper limb. With a focus of reducing pain, restoring movement and strength, and helping people regain independence so they can get back to the activities that matter most to them.

Q: What the most relaxing thing in the world?

Getting into bed with freshly washed sheets!! I spend my weekends watching my 2 boys play various different sports, walking, enjoying the outdoors and spending as much time on my yoga mat as possible!

Q: What’s your favourite food?

Chocolate. I’m convinced it’s one of the major food groups.
