Dr Sahil Gupta is a Consultant in Sport, Exercise & Musculoskeletal Medicine (SEM) and a Fellow of the Faculty of Sport & Exercise Medicine (FFSEM).
He is a GMC-certified specialist in SEM.
He is the current chief medical officer (CMO) for Northamptonshire County Cricket Club (NCCC).
He was recently a club doctor to Brentford Football Club, providing high-level musculoskeletal care to elite academy athletes during the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons. He was previously the Chief Medical Officer at Northampton Town FC from 2021 to 2025.
He provides elite athlete care to individuals with any musculoskeletal complaint.His previous positions have been with West Ham United FC, London Broncos, The London Marathon, UK Sports Institute, and The BlackBerry Clinic in Milton Keynes. He was a medical officer at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022.
He has broad experience managing musculoskeletal conditions, including acute musculoskeletal and sports injuries, chronic training-related problems, mechanical pain, chronic pain and exercise-related medical issues
