Why did you join The Back and Body Clinic? I spent over 10 years working in Events and Marketing, so I’ve always been a real people person. After moving to Bedford and starting a family, I was ready for a change that felt a bit more balanced and closer to home. I actually live locally to the clinic and came here myself as a patient just three months after having my son. The care I received was amazing, so when I saw a role come up, it felt like the perfect opportunity to be part of something that genuinely helps others. What are your top pastimes? Travelling is definitely my favourite pastime - there’s a running joke among my friends that the airport is my “natural habitat”! I just love experiencing different countries and cultures. Now the added bonus is getting to share those adventures with my husband and son which makes it even more special. Another favourite pastime is discovering new places to eat and drink. I’m always on the lookout for a great spot to try next! Who would you want to be stranded in a lift with? Honestly, anyone as long as I’ve got my phone! I never get into a lift without it, and there’s a reason why… When I was about six or seven, my brother and I were playing knock down ginger in a block of flats (yes showing my age). He knocked on a door, pushed me into the lift, and ran off - leaving me stuck inside! It turned out the lift was due maintenance, so I ended up trapped in there for nearly an hour until the fire brigade came to get me out. Safe to say, I’ve never taken lifts lightly since! What is your favourite film of all time? Inception! A great cast and deep storytelling. Im not a massive sci-fi person but thins film has always stuck with me.
