Back to team

Q: Why did you join the Back and Body Clinic?
A: I was looking for a complete change of career after being a teacher and a stint in travel. I looked at the website and profiles of the team and just thought - well they look fun, that’s something I want to be part of!Q: Favourite food?
A: Thai or generally really spicy. If I’m crying into my lunch, it’s a good sign!Q: Scariest thing you've ever done?
A: I went on a paranormal investigation where I sat in an old building all night with a bunch of strangers and equipment - think the Temu version of Ghostbusters.Q: Most relaxing thing?
A: Quite opposing things: Sofa, glass of wine, a cracking box set and my Pekingese Cecil by my side. Taking five in my little zen garden, I’m a bit of a Japanophile! Travelling and exploring somewhere new. I love a good march through a city. I don’t take the tube - you see so much more above ground!Q: One thing to take to a desert Island?
A: A mirror. I’m all about the rescue mission, so I’d use it to signal to overhead aircraft. Meanwhile, I could get a fire going to BBQ some fish and keep myself warm at night. Failing that, I’d have another face to talk to once I start to lose it!Q: Stranded in a lift with?
A: Gyles Brandreth. Surely the loveliest man on the planet! You couldn’t possibly be sad or stressed with him around. The jumpers!Q: Favourite film?
A: Arrghhh that’s tough…I love old films with amazing cinematography and a great score. So anything directed by David Lean, especially Dr Zhivago. Apocalypse Now, Rain Man, Pretty Woman, The Guernsey Potato Peel Society…did I say I was indecisive?
