Q: University and work experience?
A: I qualified with a Physiotherapy MSc (pre-reg) with distinction from the University of Northampton in 2024. I previously completed a degree in Sports & Exercise Science BSc (hons) from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2015. Prior to my career as a physiotherapist I had a 12 year professional football career playing 400 competitive games spanning International (Wales - 34 caps), Premier League and the Football league.
Q: What do you love about your job?
A: l love being in an active environment, where the main focus is around physical health.
Q: Whats your favourite patient journey and why?
A: I love to help people regain their physical health, which allows them to participate in activities they enjoy in their everyday life. This has ranged from fixing a back injury to allow a person to reignite their love of triathlons, giving a grandparent the confidence to run around with their grandchildren to simply helping each of my patients understand how to best manage their injury.
Q: Scariest thing you've done?
A: The first football game I played that was televised live on Sky Sports!
Q: One item to take to a desert island?
A: I love reading so I'd have to take a fully loaded Kindle!(with unlimited battery!)
Q: What do you do at the weekends?
A: I spend time with my young family (I have two young girls), meet up with friends and be as physically active as possible!
