Q: What made you choose Physiotherapy as a career?

A: I have always fascinated by the body and the way we move. My dad had a knee replacement when I was young and I was the only one in the family that liked looking at his X-rays!!
I then remember seeing a physio run onto the pitch at a Northampton Saints game and thought that would be an amazing job! After that I attended a talk at the club and went on a tour around the physio room and that was it!

Q: University- year qualified

A: 2012

Q: What do you love about your job?

A: I love getting to know my patients, understanding what motivates them and be able to help make a difference for them.

Q: What's your greatest achievement in your career?

A: I got to be the physio for a County Championship final at Twickenham in 2016 (which we also won!).

Q: Clinical special interests?

A: I am particularly interested in sports injuries, lower limb injuries (especially the knee), post-op orthopaedics and biomechanics.

Q: Favourite rehab technique?

A: The glute series (clam, leg lift, leg kick)- it's all in the glutes!

Q: Top Pastimes?

A: Spending time with family and friends. If I am not working at the side of a rugby pitch I am usually on the side cheering on my husband instead!

Q: Who would you like to get stuck in a lift with?

A: 2 of my best friends- this actually happened to us in a lift on the London Underground and it was surprisingly quite funny!

Q: Scariest thing you've done?

A: Bungee jump off of the Kawarau Bridge in New Zealand- never again!

Q: Favourite Film?

A: Step Brothers
