Q: Why did you join The Back and Body Clinic?

A: I joined Back and Body, having received treatments myself for various physical ailments over the years. I have always been impressed with their level of expertise across the board. The organisation is keen to provide broad holistic care for their clients, and that fits perfectly with my own desire to bring my skills to a multi-disciplinary team.

Q: Where did you study?

A: I qualified from Loughborough University in 1994 with a BSc hons degree in Physical Education and Sports Science. I took a post-graduate advanced diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Tresham Institute from 2004-2006.

Q: Work Experience?

A: I have been involved in a whole variety of sports all my life and have been a tennis coach for over 25 years. I worked as a counsellor for mental health charity Teamwork for 4 years, and have spent the last 7 years establishing my sports psychology business Focus Tennis. I am currently the mental skills coach for Culford School, setting up a syllabus for psycho-social skill development for their secondary school sports scholars.

Q: What do you love about your job?

A: I love helping others, especially in empowering them, through increased self-awareness and the development of their personal resources and self-confidence, to overcome challenges and make positive changes to their lives.
