A: Growing up I always had interest in sports and science. That combined with my mum being a nurse and giving me exposure to the medical field naturally led me down this path. I started work as a physiotherapy assistant in my local hospital before I went to university and it immediately solidified my passion for physio, and I really enjoyed helping people progress through their treatment and ultimately make a difference to their lives!
Q: University qualifications and work experience?
A: I completed my BSc in Physiotherapy at Coventry University in 2021. I worked as a physiotherapy assistant in the NHS before and during my degree.
Q: Why did you join The Back and Body Clinic?
A: I first heard of the clinic while I was still studying at university, I quickly realised how much I clicked with the ethos of the clinic, to not only fix problems but further improve and enhance people lives. As well as the incredible focusing on training for all staff, made me confident I could become the best therapist I can be.
Q: Favourite rehab exercise and why?
A: The Squat. Can be massively effective, and are so variable. Foundational movement of life!
Q: Top Pastimes?
A: I've been massively into cycling since I was young! Any discipline I like to try my hand out (although with mixed results). More recently I am getting more involved with combat sports and martial arts. I love most sports (except football, that's for my brother!). I am a qualified scuba diver since 2017 and I'm lucky enough to have dived in some amazing places across the world, such as Thailand and Australia.
Q: Favourite food?
A: I have a weak spot for pizza, so many varieties!
Q: Who would you like to be stranded in a lift with??
A: David Attenborough. I bet he has so many amazing stories, and his iconic voice you can listen to for hours.
