Acromioclavicular joint pain

Luckily, this joint is normally very well behaved and doesn’t cause too many problems… unless you bash it in a particular way, causing any degree of separation. Commonly seen in rugby players, but also those who have been skiing and sometimes, it’s also seen in people who are just unlucky in the way that they fall over. Some people end up with a lump on the edge of their shoulder that will be there for life but luckily, most of the time it’s a painless lump. Getting the rehab right for this condition is so important for the long term and we are pleased to say our team are great at this so you’re in safe hands!
