Shin Splints

You’ve probably heard of shin splints, but, as a term, it doesn’t just apply to one type of shin injury, in fact, it’s a bit of an umbrella term for lots of different issues in the shin. We see it most commonly in runners or those who do some kind of impact sport. Rehab will hugely vary patient to patient, depending on the severity and what exactly is going on. However, you can be sure of a full biomechanical assessment and corrective exercises, a Podiatry assessment and potentially insoles too.
