Verrucas

Dreaded Verrucas! Often mistaken for corns, verrucas are caused by a viral infection of the skin, and can cause significant discomfort and distress. They can even cause you to walk funny causing other problems too.  People may have one or several, and they can be difficult to treat using over-the-counter products which are often not successful. Our Podiatrists have several different tricks up their sleeves to treat verrucas, such as scalpel debridement, cryotherapy, application of silver nitrate or salicylic acid.
